Elevating Leaders, Flourishing Future

This photo captures the newest graduating class of Elevating Leaders, a program my company, Tangible Group, has designed and taught at the corporate executive level for nearly two decades. Our curriculum is rooted in positive organizational resilience and well-being, shaped by what MAPP and the MAPP community has taught me.

I have the joy of delivering this program alongside my fellow MAPP alumni, Jordana Cole and Niels Gott—and with Liz Waller, who, as alumni Sandy Lewis’s daughter, was raised on MAPP and is an honorary alum in her own right.

Each of the eight senior leaders in this photo has influence that cascades across an employee population of roughly 5,000 people. They are the latest of more than fifty leaders who have completed this development and coaching journey in the past two years—each graduate amplifying the ripple of positive change that began for me in MAPP.

Yet another leadership development program? Or a massive positive intervention? The math is pretty compelling: our graduates and the teams they lead positively impact the experiences of tens of thousands of people—sports fans, healthcare providers and patients, prison inmates, students from kindergarten through college, and employees across workplaces nationwide.

My MAPP experience continues to shape the heart of this work. It reminds me that flourishing happens not in grand gestures, but in the everyday acts of courage, connection, and care. That’s what exceptional—elevated—leadership requires. These leaders graduate with a mandate to elevate others—proof that when you invest in the human spirit, that spirit endures through others.
