Life after losing a parent is never the same you get to see the rocky roads, the stones being thrown on you and you don’t have anyone to cover your back you’re on your own but because of the immortal lessons that my mom thought me I’m able to withstand, overcome and conquer the world. She might not be here with me today but her last words (“Uzufunde mntanam ude uyityekeze ukuze ngomso ukwazi uzimela”) are the reason why I keep on pushing even during the hardest time of life hoping that one day I’ll achieve my goals. After losing my mom I got to realise that everything happens for a reason as her death didn’t break me but instead it strengthened me showed me things that I never knew that I was capable of doing & made me develop the best version of myself. I’ll forever be grateful for the time that I spent with her.
