From Refuge to Purpose

My son and I came from Ukraine in 2022, at a time when many people were seeking refuge and salvation from the war unleashed by Russia. Toronto became a second home for us, a place where we found refuge and met wonderful people who care for us and help us. My son has hearing impairments; he was operated on at SickKids Hospital. The Agapas Charity Center has taken a special place in our lives. There, we received the necessary help and great support. My son and I volunteer and try to be useful to others as we can. We are very glad that fate brought us together with Agapas in Toronto. Many thanks to all the people involved in selfless work to help their neighbors!
