If 13-year-old Alessandra saw this picture, she would think it was photoshopped. With the poor grades she got throughout secondary school, she believed she wouldn’t get many chances. Even after getting into university two years later, she still felt out of place as the youngest in her class — and many of her classmates made her feel that way .
Now, years later, after challenging her doubts and rewriting her story, she stands tall and firm in her purpose — holding a BSocSci Hons in Social Development from the top university on the continent, with a deep assurance that she truly belongs… and always did.
