Joy of Discovery

This is another photo from a series I took at the Jack and Jill Flea Market in Thousand Oaks, Ventura County, CA. I stumbled upon it by chance and was absolutely floored by the youthful energy, passion, style and real honest-to-goodness culture happening here. This was a market that absolutely exemplifies THRIVING. Young business owners, artists and makers were finding ways to sell their creations on their own terms. The joy and positivity running through this place was palpable. In my humblest of opinions, the kids at this market (both selling and shopping) are the future of Ventura County culture and commerce and if my single experience is any indication, the future is very bright indeed.
