While in Jackson Hole vacationing this year, I shot a series of photos at sunrise. I was taken in by this “teen.” My story – true or not – was that she was posing for graduation pics. Who knows? My story – true – is that I took this photo both on the edge of a day and also in my career – nearing the winnowing of my professional life. (Dare I say, “retirement.”) “She” and I were looking into our futures. I wanted to capture in the AI version the idea that futures are undefinable and can take different directions. There will be mountains in the way but also light.
