It’s difficult to find a story in something when you only look at it from the surface. At first glance, this sabal palm was just one in a long line of many, all stationed directly beside the picturesque view of a department store parking lot. But that’s the only view you can get when you don’t try to get closer. Underneath its fragile shade, you can find a new perspective, and suddenly, one tree out of many begins to feel unique.
