My experience at MAPP has shaped so much of the work I do on a daily basis. Beyond my work, when I think about the enduring impacts of my degree – I immediately think about my family. Learning the science of strengths has shifted my perspectives as a parent, wife, and mother. I more intentionally focus on building character, grit, and compassion – recognizing the opportunities in failure, and supporting my children to take flight. I more readily forgive and teach the importance of repairing hurts. I try to see the positive and help my son and daughter to do the same. MAPP truly has left an indelible mark on my own journey and I am so grateful to get to share all of my learnings and curiosities, beginning right at home.
