The light will shine through the clouds

This photo was taken from my hotel room, in downtown Toronto, the night before I was about to give a talk on happiness early the next morning. As I looked out my window, I couldn’t help but marvel at Toronto’s beauty, shining bright in the dark, cloudy night sky. And I thought of the parallel to my talk – the light, will always shine through the clouds, and help one find their path through the fog. And our reflection in the window, or in life, is what we bring with us – do we choose to see the light, or the clouds? They’re both always present.
