The View From Here

In celebrating the 20th anniversary of our MAPP journey, I chose an aerial photo of the San Francisco Bay Area taken from a plane window. One of the greatest gifts MAPP gave me is perspective—not just on the skyline below, but on what truly matters: human connection, the beauty of nature, and the idea that each of us is a small part of a magnificent whole. Gazing out that airplane window, I’m reminded how lucky we are to witness this world’s vast beauty and to feel awe at how interconnected everything is. It’s a heartfelt reminder that our positive psychology journey is about seeing life from a higher vantage point—full of gratitude, love, and the desire to leave a positive mark on the world.
