Thriving in the Law

In 2019, I started teaching a positive psychology class at The University of Tennessee College of Law. This upper-level, full-credit course was the first of its kind, introducing law school students to a number of science-backed strategies to support their thriving in law school and into their legal careers. I have now taught this class for 7 years (even through a global pandemic) and have had the opportunity to see many of my former students become accomplished attorneys and leaders in their communities — and implement many of the strategies and principles we discussed in class.
