The Victoria amazonica is one of the most emblematic plants of the Amazon, standing as an
ancestral symbol of renewal for Indigenous peoples and traditional communities. It is observed that,
even though rooted in the murky waters of the forest, it transforms with each dawn: its leaves
expand with the sun, and its flowers bloom silently at night, finding protection and support in their
spines.
So too is the human being, from the perspective of Positive Psychology – an existence capable of
growing amid adversity, being reborn from its own roots, defending and adapting itself to threats,
without losing beauty and grace, transforming challenges into inner flourishing.
