As part of World Breast Cancer Awareness Day, patients from the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases (INEN) in Lima, Peru, took part in the beauty pageant “Always beautiful”.
With great spirit and joy, these brave women walked down a flower-lined runway, wearing colorful traditional and formal outfits. The event was filled with dancing, singing, and applause throughout the ceremony, which culminated in the crowning of the winner of the 2024 edition. At the end, she removed the scarf covering her head and was met with a standing ovation from her fellow participants.
