The Unconventional

When walking down an old, rather unclean alley surrounded by construction and apartment buildings, I stopped and took a moment to look at all of the colors surrounding me – the pink, yellow, and blue of the sky; the yellow of the foam board; the orange of the telephone wire; and even the striking blue, purple, and brown of the Porta Potty. These colors in the world make it and the things they belong to beautiful. You can always find beauty where you don’t expect to see it – you just have to be willing to look for it.
