Somewhere….

This saw this woman while taking a walk on the beach. Regardless of one’s political, religious, spiritual sensibilities, how can one not be moved by this image. It’s almost as if she is holding on to the desert but looking out to the sea – the present and the future. Of course, I am creating a story about her that is as likely to be false as true. And yet, photography allows us to tell stories for other people’s narratives not only the subject at hand.
