Dear SeeingHappy Community,
The Visions of Renewal photo contest has come to a close, and what an incredible journey it has been. With 843 entries, this contest has been one of the most energizing and inspiring experiences for our team. Reviewing your photos and stories reminded us of the beauty, creativity, and care that exists across so many perspectives.
We were truly blown away by the quality and emotional depth of the submissions. Every image told a meaningful story. Choosing the winners was incredibly difficult for our judging panel, which included representatives from both SeeingHappy and the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA). We are grateful for your patience and sincerely apologize for announcing the results one day later than originally planned.
To honor everyone who participated, we have created a special photo mosaic featuring all 843 submissions. You’ll find the mosaic included below.

Looking Ahead
We are excited to announce that approximately 80 photos from the contest will be featured in our biggest exhibition yet at the 2025 World Congress on Positive Psychology in Brisbane, Australia. This showcase will take place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and is presented in collaboration with the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) and the Positive Arts and Culture Division of IPPA.
We are currently curating the selection, and we will email the photographers directly if their photo will be printed and displayed as part of the exhibition.
This collection will highlight the power of photography to foster renewal through reflection, connection, and well-being on a global stage.
Announcing the Winners
It is now our pleasure to highlight the top three photographs that most powerfully captured the spirit of renewal. These images stood out for their technical quality, emotional resonance, and ability to communicate a deeper sense of transformation.

PAPER PLANES AND CHILDHOOD DREAMS
BY MOE WAI
“Three children lie joyfully on a grassy hill under a bare tree adorned with colorful origami birds. The children reach up playfully, holding their own paper birds and smiling with pure delight. This whimsical moment captures the essence of childhood wonder, creativity, and friendship against the backdrop of nature and imagination.”
