Community Showcases and Competitions

SeeingHappy Community Showcases are participatory photography initiatives that bring people together through shared seeing. Participants are invited to submit photographs and reflections that explore themes related to human connection and everyday meaning.

These showcases are not competitions in the traditional sense, but collective acts of noticing. They invite individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels to contribute images that reflect how meaning, care, and connection show up in their lives and communities. Selected works are exhibited in public galleries, virtual spaces, or community venues, creating opportunities for dialogue, reflection, and connection.

Rooted in positive psychology and creative practice, SeeingHappy community showcases use photography as a tool for building belonging, amplifying diverse perspectives, and reminding us that moments of hope and humanity are already present if we pause long enough to see them.
