Currency I

This photo was taken in Nice, France as Covid international impact was just beginning to wane (we had to be tested to return to the States the next day). This photo continues to speak to me on many levels – the power and need for connection, the capacity for relationship to endure hard times, and the currency of relationship on which we all depend. In this photo, the subjects are both together an apart, both communing and in their own worlds but I think they are basking in each other and the opportunity to commune.
