Earth Works

Through still life photography I explore the emotions and experiences I have encountered as a carer for my child as they navigate some difficult mental health challenges. Using the visual language of soil, plants, and found objects as metaphors for recovery, regeneration, and renewal.
My garden is my sanctuary – a space where I reconnect with myself and the natural world. There’s something exciting and deeply satisfying in the act of digging in the earth: a sense of discovery, nurture, and new possibilities
