Encampment

This photo captures an activism movement addressing the housing crisis and high rent situation in Valencia, Spain. It’s an issue affecting much of the world, also here it has become unbearable for most residents. People have gathered to protest, and many are still camping in the plaza in front of the city hall. Daily activities are organized, and around 50 people sleep there each night. The message is clear: people are saying “no” to policies that support unaffordable rent and unstable housing. To me, this represents hope for change.
