Congaz, Autonomous Territory of Gagauzia, Moldova
This photo comes from my humanitarian report on Moldova, working with Ukrainian war refugees and Moldovan social orphans.
In October 2023, I travelled to Moldova and the autonomous territory of Gagauzia to teach photography to these children in several local associations that welcome and house them.
Sharing with these children who have suffered so much was very enriching for everyone, and they showed a lot of motivation, creativity and joy!
What a joy to see this young girl smiling, so happy to be taking photos and to have a real camera in her hands!
Happy, says her T-shirt, and that’s the best reward you can get for doing a humanitarian project like this : seeing a child smile.
