Every step got me closer to the top,
Every breathe that filled my lungs was a reminder to be hopeful,
A guarantee that I can do it,
My body systems worked in synchrony to cheer for my brain to keep going,
Eyes focused,
Heart pumping,
Muscles in top gear,
And voila, made it to the summit!
