A global photography showcase celebrating resilience, kindness, and hope.
Dear SeeingHappy Community,
We are delighted to share that the Visions of Renewal exhibition, first launched last July, has traveled from the World Congress of Positive Psychology in Brisbane to the University of Pennsylvania. It is now open in the front atrium of the Annenberg School for Communication and will remain on view through December 14, 2025.
From more than 850 submissions worldwide, 55 photographs were selected for display. Each image highlights resilience, kindness, and the shared hope of building a flourishing future. Visitors are invited to pause, reflect, and experience how visual storytelling can strengthen our sense of connection and well-being.
Alongside the exhibition, Penn is hosting a Community Showcase this fall in the lead-up to the 20th Anniversary MAPP Summit (Master of Applied Positive Psychology). The featured photographs will be highlighted at the Summit as a powerful way to honor the trailblazing work of MAPP alumni and community members who are applying their foundation in positive psychology in many different ways.
The exhibition is free and open to the public. If you are local in Philadelphia, please contact us for security access at hello@seeinghappy.org.
We extend our gratitude to our partners who made this community exhibition possible: the Arts and Culture Division of IPPA, the Positive Psychology Center, the Annenberg School for Communication, and the University of Pennsylvania MAPP Program.
