I took this photograph in the River of Yamuna, New Delhi, India. During the froth in Delhi’s Yamuna River, A devotee can be seen offering prayers on Chhath Puja. The Yamuna River in Delhi appears to be coated in snow, but it is covered in hazardous foam made from industrial waste. Delhi residents have grown accustomed to seeing these images despite how frightening they may be.
