Captured the same day as “Santa Maria, a Silent Rebirth”, this Venetian palazzo reveals another form of renewal—quiet preservation. Though well-maintained in reality, the image, once developed, evokes a sense of frozen time. A pause in the flow of days, reminding us that caring for our heritage is also an act of rebirth.
Personal story:
Since childhood, I’ve loved photography, but couldn’t afford a DSLR. I used my Kodak Six-20, but film development was costly, so I paused my passion. In 2023, while helping a friend move, I found an old Nikon D3100. As a thank you, he gave it to me. This image, taken the same day as “Santa Maria,” is part of that renewed journey. Photography, once paused, had resumed—steadier, and more meaningful than ever.
