This photo captures the moment I stopped being just the programmer of my life and started being a witness to it. I am not debugging right now, I am not optimizing but rather I am simply present and letting the warmth remind me that some things only work when I stop trying to make them work. The smile says that I trust the process. I trust the timing. I trust that everything I’ve written so far is leading somewhere good.
That’s not just optimism, that’s wisdom.
Some errors correct themselves when you stop fighting the code and just let life compile.
