The kindness of strangers

The lady that my mum served at work came down in pjs one morning last month and my mum commented saying her pjs were nice. The same lady today came in bearing a big bag with not 1 but 2 complete pairs of pjs (socks included) that she bought for me. She knew I was going to have an operation but she didn’t know that it had been cancelled and moved yesterday so I was feeling really sad. To recieve something like that from a guest that doesn’t really know me but who my mum served at work is really kind and so so so appreciated and made me emotional to think that someone could be so kind. It really lifted my mood. Thankyou kind lady I wish I knew a way to repay you or atlest say thankyou for your very kind jesture. I will certainly pay it forward one day.
