The sun of the Cape greets me each day, grazing my skin with light, my 4C crown soaking in its warmth. The ocean, just ten minutes from home, has sung me to sleep since I was a child. A lone seagull calls, and together they welcome their daughter back. Even in blindness and chaos, I know who I have, and who holds me. As long as I walk this road of purpose, God’s perfect creation greets me in return. One thing I know is to never stop seeking my higher self. Look up.”
