Transcarpathian electric train

A conductor sells tickets to passengers aboard the Mukachevo–Lviv elektrichka, a regional train in western Ukraine. On this journey, I photographed commuters returning from the Carpathian Mountains. The atmosphere quickly turns warm and communal — strangers relax, share food and drinks, and play cards together. It is a small reminder of how simple human connections can transform a routine train ride into a moment of joy.
