The sun positioned itself directly behind her, a molten halo threading through every leaf. For a moment she was both shadow and light—dark trunk etched in darkness , limbs swaying with gold.
At her feet, the earth revealed her silhouette: long, grounded , and reaching. The shadow stretched outward like a secret she could not keep, a soft echo of her strength laid gently across the grass. It was her shadow she cast that reminded her of the impermanence of darkness and beauty it conceives.
