When I wake up

The girls, showed me the new room for the first time. I saw lots of bits that Ive made and bought them throughout the years dotted around the room, which was lovely to see they shown me theur sparkly wallpaper, their funky lights, inside the wardrobes lol. They got really excited about showing all these new features, even though it’s actually not that new anymore it’s just that Ive not seen it. Lacey then showed me this picture that she had on top of the wardrobe facing her, and she said that she loves to look at it when she wakes up and before she goes to sleep, which I thought was really, really cute. Maybe I do make a difference to these kids after all. Maybe they do love me. I always know that they love me, but sometimes you don’t realise that you’re making a difference. It honestly melted my heart to know that is what she looks at is a picture of me her and her sister every morning and every night.
