Be the Ripple

At the end of my Respond with Resilience class, I invite each firefighter and emergency medical responder to choose a polished stone — a symbol of their strength, uniqueness, and the impact of their work. I remind them that, like a pebble cast into water, their actions create ripples that reach farther than they know. Resilience begins with one person, one moment, one ripple at a time. I first learned that from MAPP.
