While walking through a forest in Santa Cruz, CA, I came across a burned-out tree. The ground around it was charred, yet moss and tiny mushrooms were already pushing through the ash. The fire had erased what once lived there, but the new growth felt so important. It reminded me that when everything changes, new space often opens connections that can help us move forward.
