Caught this senior citizen at a retirement community talent show. Her enthusiasm brought a special beauty to the performance.
The cinematic nature of the light coming into the barn made me stop and reflect upon the animals and farmers who once inhibited this space. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to experience relics from the past.
Many Veterans like this Honor Guard member made it possible for Americans to have, “……. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness……” Their fading uniforms and awards are now put away, memories of what they did will be forever.
When I captured this image, I was struck by the serene bliss the two elk had as they feasted on the grass. As I observed the animals feasting in the distance, I contemplated the last time I was able to eat food in such peace.
Caught this touching scene during a Holocaust Remembrance Service over ten years ago at a church in Florida. This lady survived the Holocaust and was being honored. I was doing freelance work at the time. Believe me it was a sobering moment. The Gratitude at this service was overwhelming.

To the naked eye, this is ordinary traffic. To my camera, this is a mysterious haze of colors with its own sense of beauty.
While it was sad to drive by a cargo truck burning on fire, I was entranced by the surreal nature of the setting. I am thankful for the fire fighters who sacrifice themselves every day in the name of everyone’s safety.

Tail lamps and fins of a 59 Cadillac. Gone forever are the huge automobiles of yesteryear. However I really enjoy attending events that showcase these wonderful machines that once graced Americas highways!
