Hiking and come across a small cave? I’m not passing up the opportunity to explore that (even if I almost get stuck)!
I have and always will love nature and all it’s beauty and mystery, and most of all the peace that it brings to my mind and soul. Nature is my happy place.
On a lazy walk in golden gate park, conservatory of flowers- with my favorite person.
The lovely blossoms of gardens all around nurtured and grown by people spending time in dirt, with beautiful bugs, and worms & sunshine & among all the synthetic world such an act is so beautifully connected & alive.

I love standing and watching at the waves knowing life is like a waves it will pass the waves will come and go but you have to flow with it.
My grandson, David loves to collect beach treasures. He found a hollowed out horseshoe crab which he balanced on his paddle to take home. He’s happiest foraging for washashore treasures and discoveries like this one.
Goodnight and goodbye to Greensboro – home for my father for over 35 years. He passed away last year and holding services to honor him was stymied by the pandemic until now. I am grateful for him and for the opportunity to lay him to rest here and several meaningful places across the country.

My grandson loves to hug our golden doodle, Brady. This was taken on Cape Cod last summer during a windy morning at the beach. Something about that full on hug and the hint of a smile on our dog’s face just warms my heart.
