Saw this dog with his owner while on one of my beach walks. Rex loved fetching the ball after his master had thrown it. His focus was like a laser beam on the ball at all times. I like coming across scenes like this on my beach walks!

Eighty years ago today, December 7th 1941 America was attacked by the nation of Japan. Covering a story for a local reporter I photographed this person holding a replica newspaper from that time. Today few recall or know about that fateful day except for Veterans organizations that will be honoring those that lost their lives
