Lucy is a landmark fixture here at the New Jersey Shore. I recently had the opportunity to tour this tourist attraction. Lucy is perhaps the most photographed icon in the area. Making my own images of well know subjects from various angles makes me Happy!
The engravings upon these isolated grave markers have long been erased by the elements of nature and time. The identity or contributions to society those buried there might have given during their lifetime appear to be lost to the ages. Yet someone has paid homage to them, perhaps they alone are knowing how their lives
I just love to walk in the Pinelands discovering old ruins that at one time were of value but since have been abandon to the elements of nature.
Crumbling old foundations overgrown by vegetation provides content for my photographs, making me very Happy.
