Every day, I walk across this bridge on my way to upper campus, usually focused on lectures, deadlines, or study plans. But through mindful noticing, I’ve learned to slow down and appreciate the moment. The bridge, once just part of my routine, has become a reminder that even the most ordinary paths can hold meaning.
This picture was taken the first time I ever visited the beach. I’m glad I created this core memory with someone very special to me. @Phumudzo, you are a star, and I miss you dearly.
This day started with me not being okay because of academic stress but my friends dragged me out of my room to go join the Painting day at res. The day with a lot of smiles and creativity, I thank God it all ended in Joy.

While walking quickly down the street, I snapped a photo of a face someone had drawn onto a crossing light. The way it looked back at me gave me energy to search for more hidden pockets of creativity around me.
Despite life’s difficulties that cause us to fall down and feel discouraged or defeated – I will always get up again, stand tall and have hope. Joy will return again, peace will return again. Because God is for me.
On most cases the only way you can go up it’s if you started down first, just know that there is always better and it’s waiting for you to get there with its doors open.
